About this policy

This policy explains how Resile handles information in the app, on this website and when you contact support. You can reach us at support@resile.life.

Health information

With your permission, the app reads heart rate, resting heart rate, HRV, heartbeat series, activity, workouts, sleep, mindful sessions and time in daylight from Apple Health. These readings support personal comparisons, context and optional reminders. You choose which categories to share. The app does not write to Apple Health, sell Health information, use it for advertising, or send it to the developer.

Interpretations are calculated on your iPhone. The companion Watch and widgets receive the latest relevant information through Apple’s device and app-sharing services. Health access is read-only; missing access can limit what the app can show.

Journal and local storage

Journal entries, preferences, cached readings and historical comparisons are stored locally. Health and journal files use operating-system data protection and are marked for exclusion from backup where implemented. Backup exclusion is an operating-system request, not a promise that no historical or system-managed copy can exist. Apple controls its own Health syncing and backup services.

There is no developer account, advertising, third-party analytics SDK or developer server receiving Health or journal records.

Your choices and deletion

Review or withdraw Health access in Health → your profile → Apps → Resile. You can delete journal entries inside the app. Delete the iPhone app and its companion Watch app to remove their local storage. Offloading an app may keep its data. This does not delete your original Apple Health records. Any exports or screenshots you separately saved remain in the locations you chose.

Exports are optional and initiated by you through the system share sheet. They can contain private Health and journal information. The app does not choose a recipient or upload them automatically.

Apple services

Apple processes optional contributions, receipts and App Store reviews. An update check contacts Apple’s public App Store service using the app’s bundle identifier and storefront country; it sends no Health readings or journal entries. Network services also receive ordinary connection information such as an IP address. These services are governed by Apple’s policies. Optional notifications are scheduled on-device.

Support, research links and this website

If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to send so we can respond. Do not include private Health or journal records unless you want to share them. Incoming support messages are forwarded by Namecheap to our Microsoft Outlook inbox; replies are sent through Resend. Those providers process correspondence to deliver, store and protect it. We use support correspondence to resolve requests and retain it only as needed for that purpose or applicable obligations. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence at the address below.

Opening a research link takes you to a separate provider with its own privacy practices. This site uses no analytics scripts or advertising cookies. The website is hosted by Vercel. Its infrastructure processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site. See Vercel’s privacy notice.

General wellbeing

Resile describes patterns of physical strain, not emotions or a medical diagnosis. It is not an emergency service or a substitute for professional care.
