Health & readings
Missing, partial, or older readings
Understand gaps, timestamps, permissions, and source history.
Start with Apple Health
- Open Health and check whether your device’s recent readings are present.
- Review Health → your profile → Apps → Resile and the categories you chose to share.
- Allow the source device or its app to sync. If you use Apple Watch, wear it regularly and open both Resile apps.
- In Resile, open Settings → Health access & missing readings, then refresh.
A received value is not always enough for a comparison
HRV comparisons need suitable beat-interval recordings. Recent estimates need resting-context information and history. A device name appearing in Settings does not guarantee that it supplies every required type.
What partial means
A partial recording has gaps or less usable beat data. Resile keeps a received value visible when appropriate and labels it. Comparable partial recordings can contribute to a daily comparison; they do not feed the recent estimate or alerts.
Why an older daily result remains
If later information is insufficient, Resile can keep the last supported result from the same day, source and rules. Its original time remains visible. A newer supported result replaces it, including when the newer result is Normal.
Readings are not continuous. A saved result describes its recorded time, not necessarily the present moment.
